Welcome Back Students!
Sep 7
In an effort to better serve our community, build a stronger business model, and provide a wider range of services to our students; we have expanded our grade level offerings and a la carte services.
Our preschool is a small group of 3 & 4 year olds who work and play together learning their ABC’s and stories about Jesus using many activities and a developmental environment. They benefit from interacting with our older students for many activities, yet at the same time they also have the enrichment available in a small group environment.
Our elementary has settled into a pattern of combination classes including K/1, 2/3, 4/5, & 6/7. These classes are all taught in a traditional classroom model drawing on the strengths available in a mixed ability classroom and the personal attention that comes from a small class atmosphere. As our program grows they will be able to access some of their classes through the Switched-On program our high school uses. It’s like being a part of a large family. There’s always someone to play with and the students are encouraged to contribute back to the larger community while building friendships that will last a lifetime.
Our high school employs the technology of today to reach and teach net generation students. Our feedback from this year’s first class is that they enjoy both the instructional strategies and the environment. They like the organization and independence of the class assignment structures, and but are in agreement that they like the support of a classroom teacher because some of the classes if done by themselves at home would be tough. They appreciate the support system we have built to back up the tech-oriented instruction as well as the social family atmosphere in the classroom.
On the a la carte side – we have added extended day after school care for students until 5:30 Mon-Thursday in our school library. We have also added homeschool resources for area families who would like their students to attend science labs, PE, or for annual testing.
Come by – say hello – we would love to give you a tour. Maybe your student would like to join us for a day to try it out? Call the office to make arrangments – we love meeting new families and making new friends.
